Nerves of Other Objects

A 2 track electronic single (9m 36s) — released June 15th 2018 on Ocean

Finn McNicholas is a composer who's diverse career has seen him bowing a massive vase and playing strings on the first Haxan Cloak record, to writing a song to be performed by Richard Dawkins. From writing and arranging for Heritage orchestra to making music and art with Young offenders serving life sentences. His work has been used in numerous films and TV shows, contributing music to How to get away with murder, The Grand Tour, Billions and the Handmaid's Tale. He has scored a huge amount of award winning short films and features and recently worked with interactive music in VR with Marshmallow Laser feast.

His last album: Concrescence, on Opal Tapes is a cinematic work, though not the type of music you would hear on mainstream TV. The album is an experiment on both micro and macro scale, often using tape and noise, synthesis and magnified string recordings.
